Dr. Amanda Buerk, our Chief of Staff, grew up in Denver, Colorado and currently resides in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts and earned a DVM degree from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to joining the Ambassador Animal Hospital team in 2012, Dr. Buerk completed an internship at Animal Medical Center in New York City and she has a special interest in dentistry.

In her spare time, Dr. Buerk enjoys watching movies and reading. She also shares her home with two dogs, Evie, a terrier mix and Dash, a chihuahua mix, and two cats named Negan and Davinci.

Dr. Kasmin M. Davis grew up in Louisiana and currently resides in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She received an undergraduate degree from Nicholls State University and earned a DVM degree from Louisiana State University. Prior to joining the Ambassador Animal Hospital team in 1990, Dr. Davis worked in the U.S. Army, the Animal Urgent Care-Fayetteville, and the Animal Hospital of Fayetteville. Her special interests include internal medicine, behavior, and pharmacology.

Outside of the practice, Dr. Davis enjoys yoga, visual arts, music, and hiking She also has five dogs at home; two rescue beagles, one rescue border collie mix, one rescue greyhound, and a rescue foxhound.

Dr. Alicia Taylor grew up in Graham, North Carolina and currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. She received an undergraduate degree from Belmont Abbey College and earned a DVM degree from North Carolina State University. Her special interests include imaging and dermatology.

In her spare time, Dr. Taylor enjoys fishing, hiking, beach volleyball, and professional ice hockey. She also likes spending time with her two mutts, a five-year-old German Shepherd mix and a one-year-old pit bull mix.
